Mission: Empower low-income and minority youth as community leaders who influence positive changes in their lives and communities through active and responsible participation in local, city, and state government.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
• Engage socioeconomic disadvantaged youth in taking responsibility to help improve their circumstances.
• Develop the knowledge, skills, and social capital required to effectively participate in local, city, and state government.
• Enhance self-confidence, self-discipline, and self-esteem.
• Improve student academic achievement.
• Engaging youth with appropriate non-family role models and mentors of color, such as local, city, and state elected officials.
